added 451 local cases, 2 deaths. 22 May 2021 (Sat)

Finally, we got some touching news: Casar Park Hotel Taipei, a five-star hotel, joined the hospital team. It’s providing all rooms for patients who have minor or asymptomatic symptoms to help stop the community infection.

It’s totally different from so-called “Mobile cabin hospitals” in China.

Patients here have individual rooms, medical care systems, privacies, and being treated as humans.

Many people started cooking for the first time as our self-lockdown. An emergency doctor appealed to the public who were not used to cook not cooking by themselves as the emergency besides treated the COVID patients, they also sutured the hands of newbie cookers. “Could you please not challenge your cooking skills during the severe COVID pandemic?”

I had used to use the delivery service a lot as I had wanted to save time. I spray containers with alcohol and all surfaces that I touched. Until I saw some concerns from the articles. Yeap, we don’t know whose the deliver staff contact with, we don’t know if the restaurants keep hygienic while cooking.

So I’ve decided to cook by myself. And I’m glad I haven’t cut my fingers since I could cook.
